We accept most major insurance plans; however, please contact our office to confirm our participation with your insurance company. We are not participating providers for Medicare, Medicaid, HMO Blue or Champus insurance. Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital must be a contracted hospital with your insurance company since Dr. La delivers only at MHMCH.
OB TALK:
After an initial visit to confirm your pregnancy, you will be scheduled for an OB Talk with our nurse. You should expect the phone call to last between 10 and 15 minutes. During this call, our nurse will be recording family medical history of both the mother and father. She will also review the prenatal lab results and answer any questions that you might have.
For your benefit to help you financially plan, we will have an ESTIMATE of your financial responsibility for your portion of the total OB care and delivery charges for Dr. La’s services ready at your next OB appointment. Because we do not know if you will be needing additional labs or ultrasounds, please remember this is only an ESTIMATE. Maternity patients will be set up on a 6-month auto payment plan; The estimated balance will be divided into 6 monthly payments and will need to be Paid in Full before the seventh month of pregnancy.
