We accept most major insurance plans; however, please contact our office to confirm our participation with your insurance company. We are not participating providers for Medicare, Medicaid, HMO Blue or Champus insurance. Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital must be a contracted hospital with your insurance company since Dr. La delivers only at MHMCH.
OB TALK:
After an initial visit to confirm your pregnancy, you will be scheduled for an OB Talk with our nurse. If possible, we encourage both parents to attend this visit. You should expect the visit to last between 30 and 45 minutes. During this visit, our nurse will be recording family medical history of both the mother and father. She will also review the prenatal lab results and answer any questions that you might have. Because this is such an important office visit, we ask that you do not bring any children to this visit.
After your discussion with the nurse, you will meet with one of our financial counselors to discuss the financial obligations of your care with Dr. La. Your financial obligations will be based on your insurance policy benefits and our contracted rate with your insurance company. Payment, in full, is due by the 24th week of the pregnancy.
